Step Two
STEP TWO: After your tape is firmly adhered to the surface take a dry 1 inch painters brush, or similar, and apply a thin even coat of TAPE-SEAL to the edge of the tape that touches the surface you intend to paint. This will seal the edge and help prevent paint from bleeding under tape. A second coat may be applied if desired or if the surface is deeply pitted or heavily textured (ex. orange peel). Brushing at an angle toward the tape line will force more material under the tape giving you a better seal. In this example, the side on the left will be sealed with TAPE-SEAL while the side on the right will be tape only.
